MA and PhD students

Potential Master and PhD students

We welcome enquiries from Master and PhD students interested working with us. If you are interested in any aspects of the study of Palaeolithic archaeology and human evolution, you might be able to join our group for your MA or PhD research/dissertation. We have topics related to our projects, but are open to other research ideas as well.

Currently, funding for MA or PhD research is not available through the Palaeolithic Archaeology Group, but you can find information on funding opportunities for PhD students here. Please note the DOC-program of the Austrian Academy of Sciences as a potential funding avenue for your PhD studies. Future job opportunities through our projects will be advertised on our webpage.

Potential Undergraduate students

We welcome enquiries by interested undergraduate students looking for internships or voluntary work - both in the field as well as in the lab. If you are highly motivated to explore Palaeolithic archaeology, please do get in contact.

We also offer topics and materials for BA theses to interested students.
