On 20 February 2024 Prof. Wil Roebroeks, Faculty of Archaeology at University of Leiden (NL), presented a wonderful talk entitled "Landscape Modification by Last Interglacial Neanderthals?". Wil summarised his team's research on the Last Interglacial Neanderthal occupations in Germany. He explored to what extent one can argue for landscape mofification of Neanderthals at those open-air sites and the surrounding landscape.
Many thanks for a wonderful talk!
