The local Museumsverein Stillfried - which runs the Museum Stillfried-Zentrum der Urzeit - renovated another room in the excavation house in Stillfried. This is the second room of our field lab, which now has much more space and a two-room policy: the old room 1 is the wet-lab and place where the new samples and finds arrive each day from the excavation. The new room 2 is the lab for equipment and first analysis. It also houses field laptops and total stations when they are not on site.
